When the snow disappears from the slopes, a skier's job is far from over. Skiing requires leg and core muscles that the skier must continue to work throughout the warmer seasons. Regular running, swimming, or other similar workouts help to keep the heart and lungs strong, thus improving endurance during the ski season.
